Today I got to read the book What I talk about when I talk about running - a memoir of Haruki Murakami. Interesting right on the very first intro lines. I'm always loving H.Murakami. He's the looniest sensible author I've ever known! I'd like to find more about him, what makes the one I know and madly like? Jazz? Tom Cat? Running?
I'm reflecting upon the book's influence on me in the days to come. Running, that's what I'm always thinking of, but always back out at last. Perhaps at that time I didn't know "suffering is optional".
The hurt part is an unavoidable reality, but whether or not you can stand any more is up to you yourself.
